Abdulhameed A. Husain Shaikh Khalaf Alasfoor (Arabic: عبدالحميد عبدالحسين الشيخ خلف العصفور, born 21 March 1966), is a Bahraini entrepreneur with regional business interests and vision, actively engaged in inbound and outbound business and marketing activities in Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Kazakhstan and Moscow.

He currently serves as the Managing Director of Albayan Media Group (AMG), a full-service media and marketing solutions company founded in 1994 and headquartered in the Kingdom of Bahrain, with offices in Qatar and Saudi Arabia.

AMG is the parent company of a diversified group of businesses consisting of Trainme Training Center, Jadarah, A., A. Hameed A. Hussain Alasfoor Trading Establishment, Media Factory and AMG Digital.

Early life and education

Born in Bahrain and educated until high school locally, Alasfoor continued his college studies in England where he graduated with a BTEC National Diploma in Business and Finance from Salisbury College of Technology, and later earned his Associateship of the Chartered Institute of Bankers (ACIB) from Chartered Institute of Bankers in England.

Career

In 1994, Alasfoor went back to Bahrain to work as an Assistant Money Market Dealer at Banque Indosuez. In 1995, he established Unifairs International wherein he served as Director of Sales and Marketing. After one year, he founded ITE Middle East with international representation in London, Frankfurt, Paris and Milan.

Alasfoor promoted Bahrain as a regional business centre;  represented ITE- London, Nomadic- Ireland, M&C SAATCHI-U.K. Global Vision- USA, Fiera Milano- Italy and had worked with Bahrain Prime Minister Court, Bahrain Ministry of Commerce, Bahrain Ministry of Information, Bahrain Ministry of Health, Bahrain Chamber of Commerce, Federation of GCC Chambers of Commerce, Saudi Aramco, Union of Russian Federation of Entrepreneurs, and the governments of Russia and Kazakhstan.
